Coaching is about moving you from where you are to where you want to be. As a certified Life coach, I coach to change, enhance or improve one or more areas of of life, e.g., to lose weight, change jobs, improve a relationship, have better life balance. I as your coach will then establish outcomes that you wish to achieve by using tools and techniques that help you develop a plan and be accountable to achieve that plan. Coaching does not focus on the past and what happened previously in one’s life. Rather, it focuses on the present and helping people move from this point forward.
